To whom it may concern, I am a long-time resident of Boulder, and a former frequent shopper at the original Alfalfa's Market on Broadway. One by one, Boulder residents have seen the loss of locally owned natural markets, and I know I speak in good company when I say, "we miss our local markets!" Our only choice is to shop at one of the three Whole Foods that have replaced the locals. I am thrilled at the prospect of a new locally owned market in Boulder. Additionally, the idea that the new market could possibly acquire the original Alfalfa's name is exciting. Alfalfa's is a name I know and trust! I am a local business owner and believe a bit of healthy competition would be a great thing for our local healthy grocery scene. Please say no to TOPCO. Sincerely, Leah E.
