Comments:I have lived in Boulder County for nearly 30 years and am an avid consumer of natural and organic foods. I was a devoted customer of Alfalfa's Market when it opened in 1982 on Broadway in Boulder and shopped there exclusively until it was acquired by Whole Foods Market. I am cheered by the prospect that our beloved Alfalfa's Market may be restored to our community in its former location. It will be a welcome event to have a locally owned, quality natural and organic foods store back in the mix to compete with Whole Foods Market. Alfalfa's Market holds many wonderful memories for myself and my family. It was the place to cross paths with my community. Out of town family and friends looked forward to a trip to Alfalfa's Market during their stay to shop for items not available in their cities and to soak up the atmosphere. Alfalfa's Market was synonymous with a quality neighborhood market experience. I look forward to welcoming it back!
