I am in full agreement that Whole Foods should divest itself of Wild Oats in order that a Trader Joe's can be built in Portland. Portland is frequently used by consumer research groups as a "pure" sampleing of American culture and commerce. Trader Joe's also offers wholesome food to the masses at a more attractive price than its rival Whole Foods.
