I live in South Portland, Maine, and shop regularly at Hannaford's, Whole Foods, and Rosemont. When traveling, I will stop at Trader Joe's if I pass one. Have often wished we had one in Portland, so I could buy some of their frozen and cold food items. I will continue to shop at the above named stores, since the items offered by Trader Joe's are for the most part different and unique. I think it will be an asset to our population who has to make their food dollars stretch (we all do!), to students at USM, and will make use of a now vacant space. I think it will be great for business in that part of town, and will be widely used by many Mainers in Southern Maine.
