I believe Trader Joe's should be allowed to move into the Portland, Maine market, as Whole Foods has a corner on the organic/health food market at this time. Before Whole Foods purchased Wild Oats we had two organic/health food stores in Portland. Whole Foods purchased The Whole Grocer in Portland and closed that store, then Whole Foods purchased the Wild Oats chain closing that store also.It would be nice to have an alternative and competition as well as possibly a more convenient location.
