I do not believe it serves the PUBLIC's interest to allow car dealers NOT to be required by the nation's premier consumer protection agency to tell you a single thing about the history or condition of the car -- even if the dealer KNOWS that it's worth thousands less than similar cars that weren't wrecked, or it's grossly unsafe. I believe that when you buy a car, you should not be the last to know what the dealer already knows about a car. After all, your life -- and the lives of your family, friends, and other passengers -- depends on your not getting stuck with an unsafe lemon. HOLD USED CAR DEALERS AND NEW CAR DEALERS ACCOUNTABLE. I am currently dealing with a lemon from a reputable major car supplier but I purchased mine NEW! Shame on Honda for their 2007 Honda Civic's with rear suspension issues causing excessive tire wear and short blocks that are cracking. Honda needs to be accountable.
