What is the FTC's basis for involvement in this? This is a free service. If this was a paid services where money and/or material of value of any kind was lost i believe it would be correct of the FTC to act. However this seems more like a private vendetta from the president following the hacking of his account, which he used regularly. Twitter is an international service, running from U.S. hosted servers (128.242.240.52). With this in mind we should also note that seeing how the service is located on the internet it does not specifically fall under the jurisdiction of FTC or the U.S. government, again, the server park (128.242.240.52) falls under U.S. jurisdiction whilst the particular service in question (Twitter) does not.
