I signed up to have telemarketing blocked - obviously - it didn't work. I find it such a waste of my time - especially when no one is on the line. Which is often. However, my concern now is that my elderly parents live with me. If I'm not home - they answer the phone. They would not respond to a telemarketer - because it is my home. My mother is not real moble - and I fear of her falling. It makes me furious to think that someday she may fall trying to answer an unwanted telemarketer phone call.
