Comments:
Please, please only allow telemarketing or sales calls with my express written consent--whether or not I have a previously exisiting relationship with the organization. This includes pre-recorded calls--these are even more annoying than in-person calls and I do consider pre-recorded calls as an invasion of my privacy. Please also eliminate the allowance for abandoned calls, and enforce the requirement. This allowance simply enables telemarketers to do the damage of interrupting what I'm doing, and I don't even get an opportunity to prevent them from doing it again or to register a complaint since I don't have any way to know who it is! Thank you.
