Dear FTC: Pre-recorded messages are not a problem. Your efforts to prohibit them only demonstrate that the FTC is completely disconnected from the consumers you are supposed to protect. Just continue to enforce the rules regarding the Do Not Call lists. Any telemarketer that violates DNC rules should be punished severely. Clearly, such companies will cheerfully violate a rule prohibiting pre-recorded messages as well. Sincerely, Christopher Thornton
