While I am not a fan of unsolicitied telemarketer calls, I do appreciate receiving either messages or phone calls from companies that I have an established relationship with. With this hectic world, it's nice to receive a message that reminds me of a policy that's about to expire or an offer that I might otherwise miss from a company that I have been doing business with. I believe that as long as people are given the option to opt out, it is a valuable part of customer service. I would like to continue to recieve messages and notifications from companies that I do business with. I believe that a proactive attempt from a company you have purchased from or have an account with can only equal to good customer service, and in the end help people in their busy lives.
