I consider the proposed amendments to be vital. I work during the day and find it irritating to come home in the evening and find my answering machine filled with pre-recorded messages. This is an intrusion into my life that I find objectionable. It is bad enought to have to preview all the hate-filled political messages without having to screen unwanted ads, surveys and begging. I signed up for the DNC list because I do not want to answer surveys or listen to someones spiel. My privste time is mine and I do not wish to be disturbed during dinner or at any other time. The DNC list should also contain an option whereby you can also elect NOT to be called by political entities, charities and all of the other groups that are exempt from the list.
