No matter where we go these days we are not safe from salespeople. This includes our homes! The phone has been an enemy for anyone who doesn't have caller ID and picks up the phone after it rings. Even with called ID, we are left with a feeling like the aftermath of rape, that we had no choice when a stranger accosted us in sanctuary. I am begging you to consider legislation prohibiting unsolicited prerecorded telemarketing calls answered by a consumer without the consumer’s prior written agreement. Thanks.
