Please prohibit unsolicited prerecorded telemarketing calls without a consumer’s prior written agreement and amend the prescribed method for measuring the maximum allowable call abandonment rate in the TSR’s existing safe harbor provision. Too many companies or organizations are abusing the regulations as they now stand. Stricter measures are needed without exception. Since we have subscribed to caller id and phone mail services we average at least 6 calls per day. This invasion of privacy forces us to screen all of our calls. Your help in this matter is greatly apprciated.
