I pay for phone service that I can use when I need to make a call. If and when I want to hear from these companies that keep calling, THEIR phone will ring. I pay for phone service for MY use, no one else's. The Do Not Call list was a good idea in theory, but it didn't go far enough. I can't understand why telemarketers aren't supposed to bother me, but the politicians can call 15 times a day. I want to hear from them even less than I want to hear from telemarketers. It's time to get it together and disallow ALL kinds of calls that interrupt the privacy of our homes.
