As a small newspaper, the FTC ruling to ban recorded notices would have a significant impact on our operation. Using the recorded messages allows us to stay in touch wth our customers for a wide range of services from checking on their delivery service, to reminding them if their account is past due. I've been using recorded messages to make contact with our customers for over two years. From my experiences we have not offended anyone, nor have we had any complaints. To the contrary we often receive compliments from those we contacted, expressing their gratitude.
