Comments:
I would like to add my voice to those advocating the prohibition of unsolicited pre-recorded telemarketing calls. These type of calls are always an unwelcomed nuisance. Because of the relative inexpense of the automated calls, thousands of households can be bombarded with these pre-recorded calls, tying up phone lines and disturbing the occupants of families in their homes. The federal no-call list has been one of the most broadly appreciated regulations to have been passed by the federal government in recent memory. Please continue this good work by approving the prohibition of pre-recorded automated calls without the expressed approval of the phone service consumer. Thank you very much for your consideration of this request. Sincerely, Charles Pool
