Comments:
Our business provides a service to appointment based businesses such as restaurants, hairdressers, doctors, lawyers etc. People can make an online booking at say a restaurant and this is converted to a voice message and phoned through to the restaurant. The restaurant then accepts or rejects the booking by pressing the keys on their phone. All of our businesses sign up online so the provision requiring a signature is not practical. Also occasionally we give away free bookings to businesses. This is indeed a benefit to the business as they are getting more table reservations for free. After the free bookings are completed they are required to put a credit card in to continue to receive bookings. The provision about not offering goods for sale would exclude this practice which would restrict many businesses from trialling what is a very valuable and useful service. I reccomend allowing permission to be obtained from people online to receive calls and that some selling of services is allowed as long as the main purpose of the call is to provide specific personalised information. This would exclude spammers but still make allowances for services similar to ours. Kind Regards Dean McEvoy Owner / Founder Bookingangel.com
