Please ensure not "shoot ourselves in the leg" with this new proposed law. Most of do enjoy receiving calls from automatic/computerized based IVRs that informs us of: - overdue items (library books, video rentals, etc.) - stock or options quotes that approach our target buy/sell/strike price (even if this would solicit the "purchase of goods or services" from our brokerage). - invitations to parties or events (even if this would lead to the "purchase of goods or services") ...an many more of the sort. Due to the ambiguity of clear definitions which would create vast confusion, I sincerely believe this new law could do more harm than good, and hinder the progress of interactive innovation.
