Dear Sir or Madam, My company, Vontoo, delivers permission-based voice messaging, which abides by all Federal and State Do Not Call regulations. It is used by several state and local governments to communicate with the public about items of importance to them. For example, a state public pension fund uses Vontoo voice messages to reach retirees about important changes in their benefits and coverages. These constituents often do not have email. To do this by US mail costs the retirement fund up to $1.00 per letter. With a Vontoo voice message the cost is 10 cents, saving the taxpayers a lot of money and giving the retiree timely, tailored information. Will this use of Vontoo's permission-based voice messaging on behalf of retired public servants be terminated by the FTC's new regulations? Thank you for consideration of my question.
