Comments:
We run a wake-up and reminder call service which runs entirely using automated calls. A user of the system pays a monthly fee and can then schedule phone calls using their telephone or our web site to be sent to himself, friends, family, co-workers, etc. Our subscriber agreement prohibits the use of the system for telemarketing purposes. Typical uses of the RemindMeCall system include but are not limited to: daily wake-up calls, reminder calls for personal use (meetings, appoinments, birthdays), little league coaches calling team members about practice, church units calling members about activities, doctors, dentists, etc. calling to remind of appts, political candidates calling to remind people to vote, schools calling parents about absent children, etc., etc. In our first year of business, we have had tremendous interest from a wide range of businesses and consumers. We ask that these types of calling systems be excluded from any new ruling as they are very useful and desired by our clients and our clients customers, friends, and families. Thank you, Brian Barnett
