Comments:I, as an American citizen am a firm believer of giving people a second chance. This is exactly what Clear Debt did for me. I made mistakes with the handling of my credit cards, which I will take the blame, however, I also hold the credit card companies accountable, which NO ONE in the US will do! Clear Debt did not find me, I found them. They were extremely helpful, in no way decietful, and helped we thru one of the most difficult times in my life. Although I came to settlements with all 3 credit card companies I was dealing with, Clear Debt was the driving force, the backbone, my little voice being heard by oversized, overpowered, credit card companies who punish their clients daily with completely absurd policies & fees. Why can't our goverment regulate credit card companies???? They regulate everything else. Its point counterpoint. Why can a credit card company have so much power and the consumer none? And now you want to take away a trustworthy source to help people get their life back together. If I did not find Clear Debt, I would have, lost my job, lost my house, lost my family, lost everything, because of a minor mistake. I don't know about you, but that seems very harsh to me. That is unless I am an illegal immigrant who gets EVERY consideration from our government!!! On the flip side, our government won't do a damb thing for its OWN people. Like everything these companies need to be monitored, but by no means should they be shut down if they are reliable, honest and helpful to the consumer.I did not walk away "scott free". I am responsible for the capital gains and was responsible to pay off a balance of each card. I have learned avaluable lesson with the handling of my credit cards and thanks to Clear Debt Solution I am able to move on with my life and my family.
