I am writing this to detail what a relief the services of Debt Regret out of Frisco, Texas have been to my financial as well as mental status. Back in 2006, I was fired from my lucrative upper management job and had multiple health issues which caused my debt to get completely out of hand. I was out of work for a year and a half and felt like I had no other option but to file bankruptcy, but knew that that would profoundly affect my credit for at least 10 years. Through some research I found Debt Regret who were members of the Better Business Bureau so I felt as though they were a reputable company. They provided me with an option that I felt was more suitable to my situation. So far I have settled two accounts for 31.6% of what I was owed. The representatives are knowledgeable and very helpful. I am requesting that you not enforce your proposed strict regulations on debt settlement companies such as Debt Regret. They provide a valuable service to people many of whom are at their personal breaking point.
