Caller ID is a farce, really. Most of the solicitors who call us either block Caller ID, or their names show up as "Private Caller", "Ohio (or whatever other state) Call," or "Toll-free Service". This does no good at all at telling us who is calling. As long as solicitors are allowed to post such useless information, what good is Caller ID? It is a waste of time and money. We pay extra for Caller ID, and basically it is useless.
