I'm opposed to loosening restrictions on telemarketers when it comes to allowing prerecorded messages reaching a "live" consumer not to count as abandoned calls. I'm on the "Do Not Call" list and am very happy with the results. As a pre-existing customer, I don't want prerecorded messages, I want to speak to a "live" caller.
