It is annoying beyond belief to be inundated every night by telemarketers calling up to 9:00 P.M. with heaviest call volume during dinner hours. Often times the call is from a company who has called as recently as the past week. What is worse, however, is receiving automated calls. It seems as if the automatic dialer randomly dials but does automatically start playing the message when the phone is answered. A period of several seconds elapses before the system realizes it has made a 'hit', and then the recording starts. In the meantime, it is frustrating to say hello......hello.......HELLO.........HELLO!!!!!!!! and no one answers. I get very aggravated when I hear the click that indicates a message is about to start and realize again that I have been fooled by a telemarketer. This practice should be restricted and not further permitted under any new regulations being considered. Thank you.
