After registering for the DO NOT CALL LIST, getting caller I.D. and, anonymous call rejection, I was finally relatively free from unwanted telemarketing calls. Even so, I still get calls because of some of the exceptions allowed such as prior business asociations, etc. Now, I have to register all of my cell phones on the do not call list to avoid getting unwanted calls on those phones. And to add insult to injury, I have to pay for any call received on my cell phones! Then, to make matters worse, I can now expect to receive pre-recorded solicitation calls? In addition to being highly annoying and intrusive, these calls serve no purpose except to show that whoever is calling isn't interested enough to use a live person. Please don't allow any expansion of telemarketing intrusion rights!
