I subscribe to 'do not call' lists for a specific purpose. That purpose being that I don't want to receive unsolicited telemarketing calls. To amend the policy to allow for pre-recorded calls would nullify what I am trying to accomplish, i.e. - not having to deal with unsoliticited telemarketing calls. Whether the call is made by a live person or a pre-recorded message makes no difference at all, it's still a call that I don't want to recieve and a call that I consider intrusive, insensitive, frustrating and hinges on invading my rights to privacy.
