Unlike government officials, I answer my own phone. I was sick & tired of being in the middle of something important and have to answer the phonecall of some telemarketer. The Do-Not-Call Registry was the answer to my prayers. IF I want whatever they are selling-I will call them at my convience. They do not need to call the public AT ALL!! Now, apparently, if I visit THEIR website they have the right to call me. So, you know what-I visit NO websites. That not only hurts the telemarketers, it also hurts the GOOD sites and what they have to offer. I can also gets calls from charities! My how they have grown since the Do-Not-Call list came into affect. IF I had a secretary or a maid to take ALL my calls, I would have no problem with everyone calling. I don't have the luxury of that though. PLEASE, keep all these things in mind when you are pondering about my life and my time. I guess if things get too bad, I can have my phone disconnected. There we go again, hurting someone else! My choice: Enough is enough!! Make the telemarketers go out of my life! I don't want to be bothered or hasseled anymore. I have the Yellow Pages if I need a service or a product! Thank You!
