I believe telemarketing is an invasion of privacy in the most personal sense. It is no different than coming to my home several times a day to harrass me. If someone with whom I had done business started contacting me, I would certainly consider it harrassment and contact the police. The very thought that you are considering such an egregious idea is ludicrous. We fought very hard for the elimination of telemarketing and now you want to allow it to start again. If I wish to purchase anything, I will do so. I do not want someone to contact me. Let's put this all to rest and now allow telemarketing to invade our lives. Sincerely, Joann H. Henely La Jolla, CA
