Prerecorded calls are an imposition. I pay for my phone line. I should be able to use it. I pay for my voice mail service, I should be able to use it -- not have it filled up by unwanted sales calls. Prerecorded message tend to be longer than the live person messages, thereby using the space I pay for on my voice mail and filling it up. This is unacceptable. I don't even answer my phone anymore, just let it roll over to voice mail, due to the number of prerecorded calls I already receive. Yep, it's illegal in my area, but I stlil receive them. Yep, I'm on the no call list, yet I still receive sales calls from companies I have not contacted and don't do business with. No prerecorded calls!
