Do NOT allow the companies to use pre-recorded messages. Some times I believe these companies have an unlimited advertising budget. Qwest has sat there for two years now pushing DSL ads at me, and each time I have entered my phone line it does not qualify. They don't have to push the service, especially since 85% or more of their customers can't get it anyway. This in your face pushiness of companies must stop. What are they going to do next? Are they going to line us up and if we don't buy something from them they will shoot us? If I were a millionaire, I would not have a telephone. You can't call somebody who doesn't have a phone. As I see it, it is finally getting so that is the only thing to stop getting calls from India where you can barely understand the person anyway.
