|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:Before the "Do Not Call" list we were getting 20-30 calls per day from telemarketing morons. At least half of those were "prerecorded" messages, those were the most annoying because you cannot *69, get the number and tell them to shove off like you can a live human. Personally I feel all telemarketers should be lined up publicly and pelted with rotten food for having the gall to interrupt my privacy. It's my phone damnit and I don't want random morons calling me and bothering me about crap I could care less about. If I want a product or service I can use the Yellow Pages to find it, WHEN I WANT IT! Do not implement the looser restrictions on prerecorded messages, make all restrictions tighter, not looser. I get enough SPAM on my computer, more than enough junk in my mailbox, I don't want more of the same on my phone. If the telemarketing morons are losing money, too damned bad, go out and get a real job. They are worse than an inflamed boil on your butt, you can at least get the boil treated. STOP ANNOYING ME AND INVADING MY HOME WITH USELESS ADVERTISING!!!!!!!! DO NOT market "AT" me, you'll get treated like the pushy carsalesman and I won't do business with YOU specifically. I choose what I buy and from whom, annoy me and my money and I walk on down the street and it gets spent somewhere else. I hate being marketied "AT", I hate excessive marketing of any kind, forcing it into my home just pisses me off and in both the short and long runs those foolish enough to piss me off lose all chance of getting ANY of MY money. Is that quite clear enough? Do I have to scream profanities to get your attention?
