Please absolutely do not allow recorded messages to be made to those of us who are on the do-not-call list. That is yet another unnecessary intrusion into my privacy and an abuse of my telephone service, which I myself pay for. The last thing I need is more interruptions in my day by advertising coming from a machine. I am already overwhelmed by advertising reaching me through by mail and email--dealing with this robs me and my family of precious time. If there is any concern for family values, why would you even contemplate allowing recorded phone calls to interrupt family activities and take away time from them? It has been a great relief to me to have the number of annoying intrusive unwanted phone calls reduced significantly by being on the do-not-call list. I do not need spam reaching me through my telephone. Even now, there are still violators that get through. Why not focus on stopping them, instead of making the do-not-call list meaningless?
