I object to any rule change proposed for the "Do Not Call Registry." This list of consumers who do not wish to be contacted by telemarketers should remain intact and in force. Companies that wish to contact their customers with a pre-recorded message should make that an option available at future sales transactions. This would be a sensible compromise, and the customer will regard this courtesy with appreciation.
