The DO NOT CALL lists should be kept as restrictive as possible. Business I do business with should NOT be allowed to call me on the phone. Just because I do business with them is no reason to make an exception. I have less of a problem with non-profits although I should add that I am doing almost no business with non-profits over the phone. If it were up to me, the ONLY organizations I would allow to get an exemption are non-profits to which I gave money the previous or current year. No other exemptions should be granted. Please -- they call during dinner; when I am home sick. Some of them even call me at work. It is not necessary. Frank Friedman
