today is the first i noticed the alert on unwanted phone calls. enough! do not water down the rules. it has been a joy these past months to not hear the phone ringing constantly with those annoying calls from telemarketers. for you to even consider allowing these companies to intrude on the public with "robot calls" is astounding - and shameful. we pay for our phone service; and nowhere is it said we have to be subjected to uninvited intruders - via phones or our entrance doors. it's bad enough that the airwaves are littered with an over-abundance of messages urging consumers to "be better, buy more, blah-blah-blah". mama raised me to be a lady; however, i'm fast approaching a point whereby i might be forced to ignore my upbringing when accosted by madison avenue's robots and their annoying means of communicating with the public. enough!
