As an individual who values my privacy, I am opposed to legislation that will allow for the greater use of automated telemarketing calls. As consumers, we are subjected to an ever-increasing effort to expose us to advertising content. This proposal wil provide yet another way for marketeers to intrude into my personal time and require that I review unsolicited messages captured by an answering system in my absence. If you are peddling a product or service on an unsolicited basis, DON"T CALL ME!!!
