I am opposed to the change in regulation. The use of automated phone services is an inconvenience to the public. This will serve to increase the volume of calls to consumer. The automated systems will often not disconnect upon hang up and have the potential to serve as a hazard. The automated systems often make what should be simple tasks more complex and time consuming to navigate the hierarchy of menus often which make it difficult to choose the correct option. Please do not take action that in my opinion runs contrary to the good of the public and legitimizes cost saving moves on the part of corporations.
