I thought th epoint of this list was so we didn't have to be bothered by this nonsense. It is a nuisance and an infringement on my privacy, as far as I'm concerned. I work all day, and I don't want to come home and be constantly interrupted all evening while I am trying to relax and spend time with my family. I have had telemarketers call me on the weekends as well, as early as 6am! And before I signed up for the list, I was getting as many as ten calls a day! That is proposterous, and will probably just get worse if recorded calls are allowed as they can just set up the machines and let them call. If these businesses can't find a way to get customers besides calling and harassing people, then they obviously don't need to be in business. Who is actually going to want to do business with someone who calls you at home on your time and harasses you anyway? I do not think any kind of calls should be permitted, live person or pre-recorded. If you sign up for the list, it obviously means you are not interested in whatever they have to say, so they should not be allowed to bother you, period. Thank you.
