I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE THE RULES TO ALLOW AUTOMATED TELEMARKETING CALLS. I am currently on the "Do Not Call" registry and have enjoyed a reduction in telemarketing calls over the last year. I do not want to change that or weaken the rules. I believe that the current 3% of calls being automated is sufficient. The only way that I can agree with raising this percentage is if the telemarketing firms are bound by the current lists and can not place those calls to people on the "Do Not Call" list. In other words, let them automate their process and save money, but do so only on the people that are not on the "Do Not Call" registry. I ask that you continue to support the consumer and their right to un-interrupted privacy on this issue. Please do not allow these changes to occur as proposed..
