I signed up for the National Do Not Call List to limit my exposure to telemarketers and so far it has been working well. I do not support any rule change that would give any company greater acces to my phone! It is bad enough that we cannot step outside of our homes without being bombarded with advertising messages but we should have a choice on what advertising we allow into our homes. If anything, we should make the Do Not Call List more restrictive by being allowed to opt out of charity and political calls as well. Last election year I had over 20 prerecorded messages a day coming into my home during the month of October. I want to be left alone in my home, we have spent a lot of time, money and effort to make our home a sanctuary for our family and we alone should be able to decide who we want to let in!
