I have entered all our phone numbers on the do not call register. "My phone" is predicated on the fee I pay monthly to purchase and own the phone line for my business and personal use. I am not listed in the phone book thus only people I expect to converse with are in possession of my numbers. I do not subscribe to phone solicitor services and consider them an envasion of my privacy in addition to a rude and unwanted interruption and depravation of the time that I personally pay for and expect the phone be used for precise services for which I directly apply. If you are going to allow phone solicitation then have $1.00 deducted from my phone bill for each solicitation even when I tell them to go to hell and hang up.
