"The Federal Trade Commission is currently reviewing an application to allow companies to use pre-recorded messages for telemarketing." A very BAD idea,,, Everybody in my home is fully or partially disabled, we signed up on the no call list specifically to eliminate getting up and down to answer phone calls soliciting us for goods & services we can't afford anyway. The use of automated calls would be not only an inconvenience but a painful inconvenience.
