Citizens pay for services that they need or want and do not pay for services that they prefer to avoid. I pay for my communications services and do not want my life bomarded with a continual stream of advertisement. I have a right to my privacy as do other Americans. If I want to learn of a product or any new developments in a particular field, I have access to trade publications and the internet to assist me. I feel it is the responsibility of the FTC to control the actions of the parties desiring to disturb or invade that privacy in the realm of communications.
