Re automated calling: An automated call is just as annoying as a person calling. I see this is a ploy to get around the no call list. If unsolicited automated calls are permitted there is no point to having a no call list. Also, I find the allowed calls by charities or university solicitors just as annoying as the telemarketers. Usually I don't answer these but I still have to go to the phone to check the caller ID. By the way, there are still many calls with identity "unavailable." Thanks for considering this. Ken Hasson
