I am totally against the pre-recorded messages from telemarketers. There is no time limit, and they constantly fill up my answering machine, making it inpossible for me to receive the important messages meant for me. I also think every Telemarketing organization MUST show their phone number on caller-ID rather than "private" or Unknown". This allows consumers to actually report issues with these companies. There have been instances where I have asked them for information on their company and they have actually hung up! So, in short, so what if it costs more for a live person..maybe the Telemarketers will make less calls and make all our lives a lot better without their harrassing phone calls!
