I am opposed to the "softer" regulation of the do not call list (allwing more pre-recorded calls)If someone is on the do not call list, they have the ability (if they are being "telemarketed" by a live person) to interupt the person & remind them that they are on the do not call list (assuming they haven't done anything to negate this fact) and resolve the issue right then & there. Also, they would be able to get the needed information for suing the telemarketing firm for calling someone who is on the do not call list.
