I just received information that the do not call registry is about to be weakened. Whether it is a live voice or a recording I do not want my telephone to be constantly ringing to hear someone's sales pitch. If I need a service or a product I am more than happy to research available sources on my own. I really object to having my telephone being used for what I consider nuisance calls. I object to making my family pay long distance rates simply so that I can screen my incoming calls.
