Whether it is a real person or a recording, telemarketing is nothing more than telephone harrassment. I signed up for the Do Not Call registry and I've been very happy that I have not been called. Now you are telling me there is a 'loop hole' so now I can expect to be called by recordings. It is a gross waste of my time to answer a phone call that is not relevant to my life. If I am interested in what is being sold via the phone, then I will make the call myself. Otherwise, consider me NOT interested in the product being sold. I do not want to be harrassed by unlimited amounts of phone spam. These calls do nothing more than tie up my phone line unnecessarily with nonsense. I do NOT believe that the laws that protected my privacy should be able to change. If that is the case, then maybe more laws will change for the benefit of big business, creating more headaches for the consumers. My privacy is my privacy a right that I have earned, whether I'm being asked to buy something from a human being or a recording, and I do NOT want my privacy invaded anymore.
